Andy Meadows

Raised in the Texas Hill Country, Andy Meadows has been around radio, music and the stage his entire life.

His family owned and operated a country radio station in the Hill Country, his father led the music in church and often invited Andy up to sing, his mother taught high school drama, and Andy began writing songs at age 16 and formed his first band a few years later. After getting a full scholarship to Texas Tech to study opera and later transferring to South Plains College to focus on commercial music, Andy went to work in radio.

He joined the LKCM Radio Group family back in 2002, in the early days of 95.9 the Ranch. Currently, he’s the Operations Director for LKCM Radio Group, the Program Director for 95.9 the Ranch, and can be heard weekdays from 10 am to 3 pm on the Ranch.

When he’s not doing radio he fronts a Big Band singing a unique blend of jazz, country, swing, western swing, and blues.

He’s also an avid writer who has written for comedy shows, magazines, and websites.
