How to Apply for Community Grants
The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018, Komen Greater Fort Worth is investing more than $400,000 in 3 local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in Tarrant, Parker, Johnson and Hood counties. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.
The 2019-2020 RFA is listed below. The application process for 2018 has already closed. All applicants are required to attend the Grant Writing Workshop. Projects that specifically address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” in the application will be given priority.
All requests for science research funding should be directed to the National Susan G. Komen® Grants Program. More information on research funding is available at www.komen.org/grants
