How to Apply for Community Grants

The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018, Komen Greater Fort Worth is investing more than $400,000 in 3 local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in Tarrant, Parker, Johnson and Hood counties. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.

The application process for fiscal year April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 will begin soon. The RFA is listed below. The application process opens on October 30, 2017 and the deadline to submit applications is December 1, 2017. All applicants are required to attend the Grant Writing Workshop on October 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Projects that specifically address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” in the application will be given priority.
