Komen Greater Fort Worth Worship in Pink invites Greater Fort Worth churches, mosques and synagogues to come together to spread the life-saving message of breast cancer and early detection. Worship in Pink is a great opportunity for religious organizations to honor the survivors in their communities and join Komen Greater Fort Worth in the fight to enable women to detect and survive breast cancer!
Participating in Worship in Pink weekend is simple. Komen Greater Fort Worth provides each religious organization with an easy to implement online planning kit, which you can download, print and share with your congregation. Each congregation is encouraged to use Worship in Pink to celebrate the breast cancer survivors and co-survivors in their community.
For example, some organizations host a special luncheon for survivors, encourage the congregation to wear pink or invite survivors to speak about their experiences with the disease.
Please note: Worship in Pink packets will not be provided in 2014 as they have in the past. However, we strongly encourage you to use the downloadable tools and resources below to provide your congregation with Komen’s life-saving messages about breast cancer education and awareness.
